Nothing’s Better Than 40!

My baby turns 40 this year – my, oh my – doesn’t it make me feel positively ANCIENT!

This stamp set wasn’t on my radar at all. However, given that my daughter loves a cocktail or two, and not to mention chocolate, I thought….why not?

With lockdown, we haven’t seen any family since Christmas. Lockdown put paid to any visits in between, so I’m thrilled that she is coming down to visit us with her brood to stay for a few days and mark her 40th with us.

This stamp set is called “Nothing Better than….” . You can fill in whatever is appropriate after that phrase. The choices are below, so which would be your favourite?

• Cookies
• Cocktails
• Chocolate

Did you notice that the letters above the number 40 appear smaller? I simply shortened the stem of the “T” and “H”.

As I was presenting this card to my daughter in person, I pushed the boat out and I haven’t confined myself to using just the one stamp set or accessory.
