A family of Owls

Did the title make you sit up? I’m sorry, they’re not real owls, although they are amongst my favourite creatures.

This is another example of using the clearly Christmas themed stamp set into something that’s more generic. Inside the card, you can add whatever sentiment you wish. I’ve left it blank, so it may even end up as a Christmas card after all!

The original sentiment in the stamp set is “Have a hoot on Halloween”, but by cutting it up into strips, you can create a sentiment with an entirely different meaning

What I also love is that the 3 “windows” you see has been cut from just one die in one fell swoop! These “windows” are really 3 little tags which I will reserve for another project. As I’ve said many times before, ye ole catalog is always a great source of inspiration. This is my take on the sample show in it.
