It’s Week 5 of my Six Week Countdown to Halloween Series!
Today’s project is decorating a 3-1/8″ x 3-1/8″ acetate box with the Hallows Night Magic bundle for a Halloween treat.
If you’re a fan of Halloween, you’ll love the “Magic in This Night” Suite in the August-December 2020 Mini Catalogue. The die set includes a border die and I love that each die cuts multiple bats!
I chose not to add a tag, but stamped directly on to the DSP with versamark and embossed it with White Emboss powder because I wanted the die cut Black Glitter bats to “sing”.
The chocolate was smaller than the acetate box, so I padded it out with narrow strips of Basic Black card stock. I then scrunched them up and put a little in the bottom, inserted the chocolate, and then topped it up with more at the top before closing the box. It covered up what was inside the box so that it would be a surprise when you open it. It’s the little things to add to the anticipation of the big reveal!
