Wonder of the Season

Are you a Grinch or do you love Christmas? What does its meaning hold for you? To a child Christmas is truly the “Wonder of the Season”. However, in Stampin’ Up!’s world, this is the name of a special pack of foiled paper full of whimsical text in English, French, German and Dutch.

By cutting up the paper, you can use it to make beautiful cards which are quick and easy to create especially for Christmas when you have lots to send.

In today’s post, I used a whole A4 sheet. With the long side at the top of my trimmer, I cut off a 3″ (7.6 cm) piece, then trimmed that down to 3″ x 6″ (7.6 cm x 15.2 cm) which I could then fold in half for a 3″x 3″ (7.6 cm x 7.6 cm) gift card. Stampin’ Up! supplies envelopes to fit these so it makes me happy!

Then with what was left over I created my tall slim card! Yay! It finally dawned on me that I could save myself time and effort using office envelops. What held me back from making this type of card was because Stampin’ Up! don’t supply envelops this size. I’m enjoying the change!

I used Cherish the Season bundle to die cut the bell and gold embossed the greeting.
