How was Christmas for you? I hope you all had a good Christmas and Boxing Day. Let’s not dwell on what could not be by way of meeting up with loved ones this year. News of a vaccine being available in the New Year is progress to normality at last!
Something else to look forward to is the new January – June 2021 mini and with that, the Annual Sale-a-bration Event where Stampin’ Up! gives away a freebie for every £45 spent! It’s a shorter Sale-A-Bration period and runs from 5 January to 28 February. My customers will have a copy of the catalogue and Sale-a-bration brochure winging its way to them by now.
This card was made from the Fine Art Floral Suite which you will find on pages 32-34. There’s such a plethora of product in this suite. Heat & Stick powder is back so that we can use the Gilded Leafing embellishment to add pizzazz to any project.
Included in the Suite are Golden Garden Designer Specialty Acetate sheets which I’ve used to overlay the free papers I got from purchasing this bundle. I stamped the stem and leaves directly on to the ombre paper and then attached the acetate with glue dots behind the flowers. Both the flowers received the “gilded” treatment so watch out for a future video on how to apply this.
The “just want to say” is a die. I attached an adhesive backing sheet on to the brass foil paper before die cutting to make adhering it to the acetate easier with less mess. To complete the card, I added a flat knot bow with the Fine Art 3/8″ (1 cm) gold ribbon.
