Patterned paper and cards

As you know, Sale-a-bration is in full swing. Every purchase of £45 excluding shipping/handling, you can choose a FREE product from their Sale-a-bration brochure. This will be valid from 5 January – 28 February, a shorter period than before without a 2nd release during this time. Instead there will be a second Sale-a-bration event to be held later in the year.

Do you plan ahead and create a card for each of your family or friends in advance? Sometimes I do, but more often than not, I don’t! So sometimes, there’s a mad panic to create one and have it posted in time!

I was so pleased to find the Many Messages stamp set and a die that would cut out all those messages with just one pass through the die cutting machine! Having purchased this bundle, I chose the Paper Blooms Designer Series Paper on page 3 of the Sale-a-bration brochure as my complimentary item.

There’s no hard and fast rule in any type of craft. You can mix things up, clean and simple, or a fancy fold, lots of layers, or lots of stamping. It really depends on your mood or how much time you have.

What I’m trying to say is that to create an emergency stash – you can create stunning cards with simply cutting up and layering pretty patterned paper. The only dressing you need is a sentiment and that’s where this stamp set comes in!

The card bases were made using the colours in the papers to compliment them.
