A Clean and simple Easter Card

Easter has crept up on me so there’s a mad rush to create a clean and simple Easter card design to mass produce and catch the post next week! I’m on a mission to use what I have rather than buy new, with one exception. As my preference is to use punches whenever I can, especially if I’m creating in bulk, I couldn’t resist investing in the double oval punch. It just made sense to invest in the coordinating stamp set as well to take advantage of the 10% discount if you buy the bundle.

I always love using gingham for Easter and am so glad we still have the Buffalo Check stamp because I was able to create my own gingham background in Highland Heather. The Buffalo Check is a background stamp and is useful for creating masculine cards too. We’ve had this stamp for awhile and I remember using it to make my hubby a card using this very same stamp way back in 2018 which you can see here.

Other elements in the stamp set are images whch are quite generic, so you can use it for any occasion. Alcohol markers tend to bleed, so I stamped the image on a piece of Basic White and adhered it to the inside of the card base . My apologies for partially obscuring the image with Easter eggs, but at 2.00 o’clock in the morning, I was anxious just to finish this post and get to bed!

Thanks for popping by today – the clocks have gone forward an hour for British Summer time here in the UK. Enjoy the rest of your weekend. The national lock down is gently easing its way back to normality in baby steps. After a year long “stay at home and shield” I am really looking forward to getting out of the house, even if it is just to the grocery store!
