Do you like floral cards? In today’s project I used the Pretty Perennials stamp set to make a pretty floral birthday card. This isn’t a normal card. I made one back in 2018 but can’t seem to find it anywhere on my blog, so maybe I didn’t share it. This type of card is also called the “impossible fold” and holds a little secret as to how to achieve it!
It folds flat for posting. You’ll be surprised at how easy it is to make. Once you measure, cut and score, you can twist one side to create this integral easel popped up panel without any extra pieces! I tell a lie, there are the mat layers, of course. The one I made here is from a 5″ x 7″ piece of card stock. However, it doesn’t go in a standard envelop. In the video tutorial, I resized it to 4″ x 5-3/4″ so it would fit in a C6 envelop. The extra Soft Sea Foam layer I added for the large card pictured in this blog post was omitted on the smaller card in the video.

There wasn’t a coordinating paper with this Bundle, so I created my own by simply stamping the floral images in Pool Party, Petal Pink, So Saffron and Soft Sea Foam. The words were stamped in Gray Granite and fussy cut.
The paper you need is listed below both in Imperial and Metric. For the scoring and cutting instructions, please refer to the video tutorial. It’s easier to explain when you have a visual.
