How to create a rainbow card with Stamparatus

I find that the Stamparatus is indispensible when it comes to creating a rainbow card. If you’re wondering “how do I do this”, then read on!

If you purchase the stamp set called “Brushed Blooms” and the coordinating “Beautiful Brushstroke dies” at the same time, there is a saving of 10%.

The dies in this set can be layered and adhered together to create floral images without being stamped. Rather than die cutting them in different shades of card stock, I simply used Stampin’ Blends to colour them.

There are two brush stroke stamps in “Brushed Blooms”. One is about 3/4″ wide, and the other 3/8″ wide and I wanted to create a rainbow card. This is where the Stamparatus is an invaluable tool. It’s a stamp positioning tool so that you can repeat stamp without smudging the previously stamped image in the exact same spot.

I used a technique called “hinge stamping” which I’ve demonstrated in my video below. You can also see another card I made using this same technique HERE. So grab a cuppa, and press “play” and I hope it will inspire you to have a go yourself!
