I love cards that move, so here’s a fun Interactive Easter card with a pull and flip mechanism using the “Hey Birthday Chick” bundle. This is my prototype, but for the video tutorial I used a different punch. The Hey Birthday Chick stamp set didn’t have an Easter greeting but I found one in “A wish for Everything”.
The pocket was created to hold the pull and flip mechanism which is attached to a mini card. A tag is adhered to the underside of the mini card to prompt the recipient to pull it out.
When you pull the tag, the first scene is Mama Hen’s three chicks going walkabout. The fence, chicks and streamers were die cut with the Birthday Chick dies.
When fully extended, it reveals the little eggs hatching and partying! The images were all stamped in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink which is compatible for colouring with alcohol markers. For this project, I chose Stampin’ Blend combos in Crumb Cake, So Saffron, and Pool Party. I also used Pumpkin Pie and Real Red from the Regals Stampin’ Write Marker set.
It doesn’t end there! Mama Hen is inside the card “sending easter wishes to someone very sweet” !
