Birthday Card for a Teenager

When I espied the Hats Off Bundle in the new Annual Catalogue on page 47, I knew it would make the perfect birthday card for a teenager! I have real difficulty with making cards for that age bracket.

May has been such a busy month for birthdays. I have been churning them out like there’s no tomorrow! Today’s card is for my middle grandson and he’s mad about football. I am clueless about the sport in any shape or form, except for tennis. I’ll tolerate Wimbledon, but dread it when the rugby or football season kicks in. Hubby follows rugby, or cricket, golf, snooker or tennis, and endless quiz programs! I quietly beat an exit and craft when sport is on, or nestle into a good book!

Hubby did a bit of digging and found out the colour of the strip of my grandson’s favourite Leeds United football team and this was as close as I could get to reflect that.

It came together really quickly as it didn’t need any girly stuff on it!

Here’s a quick video on how it all came together.
