Oops – I thought I’d already created a clean and simple masculine card for today’s post. Having had house guests all last week, I thought I’d worked ahead and it was all in the bag! Turns out that I had not prepared anything for today as my blog still showed Friday’s post!
So in haste, today’s offering really is clean, simple and a card which can be used for Father’s Day or for a birthday as I’ve left the inside blank.
Unfortunately, the camouflage background stamp has retired. Instead, I used one of the sheets of designer series paper from the “Beauty of the Earth” DSP pack. I die cut a large one for the front, and a smaller one for the inside of the card.
The front layer in Old Olive was embossed with the Evergreen Forest 3D embossing folder which I sponged to bring out the detail and subsequently mounted on to the Basic White thick card base.
I left the inside blank so that the card could be used for Father’s Day, or as a birthday card. You can see another card made with this very same stamp set for a Teenager HERE.
