Gift card with a twist

Today’s project is to create a gift card with a twist by turning a pre-printed card inside out. I used the Hand-penned Memories & More cards and envelopes and turned it inside out. So the front of the card became the inside. I added a piece of patterned paper in the front and used the same patterned paper design to make a pocket for the inside.

I loved the pastel colour washed look and thought I’d use it on the inside. These Hand-penned Memories and More Cards and Envelopes are larger than a normal sized card. The card was created to send a photo, but it could also be used as a money wallet. The “thinking of you” is a sticker from the Hand-penned Memories and more cards pack.

This large card fits into the new ombre gift bags. I discovered that one of the Scalloped Contours dies is designed to have two parallel slots which is perfect for wrapping ribbon round as you can see. I left the label blank so the recipient’s name and the gift giver’s name could be added later.
