Sneak peek spinner card using Sweets & Treats from the soon to be launched July to December 2021 mini. Fabulous news! There will be a second Sale-a-bration period running from 3 August to 30 September. This is the time when you can earn free product for every £45 you spend excluding shipping.
The Sweets & Treats stamp set is a good starting point. Personally, it’s far too early for me to start thinking about Christmas, but I felt that you can use this stamp set for other occasions too. I’ve combined it with the Give it a Whirl dies. It certainly makes creating this type of card much more intuitive when they’ve been specifically designed the dies to do just that.
As this is a sneak peek, I will add the supply links after the catalogue has launched.
As a Demonstrator, I was able to pre-order and pick Sale-a-bration goodies with each £45 purchase excluding shipping. I chose a pack of 12″ x 12″ Designer Series Paper called Peaceful Prints. These carry six double-sided designs. On one side there are festive Christmas images and on the other, it’s generic so that you can use them in a non-Christmas context.
To create this spinner card, Stampin’ Up! designed and manufactured special dies specifically for this purpose with multiple aperture shapes. These shapes cut out the “windows” on the card front through which you can view different images as you turn the wheel. Stampin’ Up! have thought of everything! Even the wheel is scalloped so that you can easily spin the wheel. The one I’ve used is fan shaped, but there is a rectangle, circle and heart shape also. These dies called “Give it a Whirl” are sold separately.
