I made this interactive birthday card with Seas the Day for my grandson’s birthday. The card is a spinner card made with some special dies. The dies are called “Give it a Whirl” and you most certainly can!
It was originally in the July-December 2021 mini and you can see the post HERE where I used with the Sweets & Treats photopolymer stamp set which has sadly retired. That post also has a video tutorial if you’re interested.
I traced the fan apertures to ensure that when I stamped the images, they would be the right way up as you spin the wheel. The Gentle Waves background stamp is a fabulous backdrop for my “sea bed”. It’s quite a big stamp and you need the largest “F” block to mount the stamp on.
For the inside of the card, I did a little blending in Crumb Cake then stamped and die cut the crab to go inside. Sadly this Seas the Day stamp set and the Sea Dies which coordinate with it hasn’t made it into the “big book” so it will be retiring on 2nd May, 2022. Such a shame because I love the font and the images too.
