Fancy fold card with What’s Cookin’

I wonder what is the difference between a Dutch door and Stable door or are they both the same? A few weeks ago I made one for a video tutorial and kept this one back for today’s post! Click HERE if you haven’t seen it yet.

What with BBC’s Masterchef series and so many wannabe chef’s out there, I thought this would be just perfect card to send! I had a light bulb moment to use the Checks & Dots embossing folder set – these are a pair of embossing folders designed for the Mini Stampin’ Cut & Emboss machine. The checks one looked like a kitchen tile splash back!

The die for the chopping board also embosses a wood grain effect. Don’t you love those little details Stampin’ Up! incorporates into their designs?

I die cut the frying spatula and knife both in Silver foil and Crumb Cake card stock and adhered just the handle portions in Crumb Cake to the Silver foil ones to make it look authentic.

Poor chopping board got hacked to less than half its original size in order to fit within the space! I added some linen thread through the hold in the handle.
