Clean and simple card with Merry Snowflakes

A clean and simple card with Merry Snowflakes in this Sunday’s post. I love clean and simple cards especially when you have a ton to mail both locally and abroad.

We’re having a cold snap and I’m so glad we have our heating back!

We had a major incident on Friday, resulting in a flood in our hallway with the radiator and because the system had half drained and had caused an air bubble, we lost our heating too.

Fortunately, our plumber is local to us and called in to fix it so we have our heating back and boy, are we grateful!

Anyway, on to today’s card…..

I omitted putting dimensionals on all the layers so that it would be “snail” mail friendly. The card base is in Thick Basic White, as is the window layer. To create this card I simply cut some patterned paper as a background layer. Then I adhered a basic white frame on top and added some silver foil snowflakes and a sentiment.

Dies used

I used the Stitched Rectangles dies to cut my window and the snowflakes were die cut from the Stitched Snowflakes dies which coordinate with the Merry Snowflakes stamp set.

The snowflakes look stunning when die cut out of silver foil.

Whimsy & Wonder Specialty DSP and other out of stock items

These are the papers I used, but they are currently unavailable. Stampin’ Up! have informed us that due to
supply chain shortages, global shipping delays, labour shortages, and transportation and while delivery difficulties continue, they will no long provide back order status, and instead their website will show “currently unavailable” if things go out of stock.

I’m lucky I still have some as in the scheme of things, I’m a bit late in breaking open my pack to start creating with them in earnest.
