Easy Floral fun fold card

Here’s an easy floral fun fold card! I have been eyeing the “Flowing Flowers” stamp set for ages and had to wait till the launch of the catalogue before I could order it!

I love Stampin’ Up!’s distINKtive stamps, and Flowing Flowers in the new January-June 2022 mini is quite possibly one of distINKtive sets I love the most.

Another favourite is the pair of new Stripes & Splatters 3D embossing folders which fit through the mini die cutting machine. One of the choices you can get for free subject to a qualifying order of £45 excluding handling/shipping is the Sunshine & Rainbow 6″ x 6″ (15.2 x 15.2 cm) designer series papers which I’ve used here.

To make the fun fold, I simply cut 2″ off the front of a standard card base. From the leftover card front, I trimmed it so I could emboss it and use it as a second layer as pictured.

Sale-a-bration free Sunshine & Rainbow DSP

I earned the lovely Sunshine & Rainbow 6″ x 6″ (15.2 x 15.2 cm) designer series papers and used these to decorate the front and inside panel. There are 12 double sided designs. If you find one side is too garish, flip it over and use the other side as I’ve done here. I loved the pale papaya with those random white flecks.

Decorative details

The focal centre point comprises 2 die cut scalloped circles, one in Pale Papaya and the other in Pool Party. These were adhered to the short panel back to back, Pale Papaya on the front, Pool Party on the back to match the card base.

Pale Papaya open weave ribbon was attached first before I stamped on the Basic White plain circle which was adhered with dimensionals on to the Pale Papaya scalloped circle.

Somewhere to write

You may be wondering where you could address the recipient and pen a few words. I stamped some floral images on Basic White card stock 3-3/4″ x 5-5/8″ and cut it in half. One was adhered to the back of the front panel, and the other to the inside left of the card base.
