Fancy border cut card

My second post in the new year so Happy New Year to you all. Staying as positive as I can be, and am hoping that we will have a happier, healthier year in 2022!

Oopsie! Did you spot the mistake in the photo? I picked up the wrong catalogue and didn’t realise it till after it had been posted! A year out of sync! lol! The front cover should have a windmill on it. I thought about photographing this again, but with Christmas on the horizon and visitors expected, I had too much else to do, so it’s staying!

Something old, something new

The stitched curvy border die reminds of one we used to have which was very popular. We used to use it for bag toppers which has given me an idea for a project in the future!

Say “hello” to these new faux sea glass shapes. They’re part of the “Artfully Composed Suite” on pages 32 to 34 of the January-June 2022 mini. There are 150 in a pack, 50 each of Old Olive, Just Jade and White. They’re gorgeous in real life and it makes a change from sequins and gems.

Remember the Brilliant Butterfly dies? I used them such a lot when they first appeared. The butterflies work perfectly with the curvy border die and the slim, tall proportions of the card.

I die cut my butterflies from the Simply Marbleous 6″ x 6″ (15.2 x 15.2 cm) designer series paper in the Sale-a-bration brochure.

The sentiment is from “Slim Sayings” which coordinates with the Slim Card dies. If you purchase both the stamp set and dies together, there will be a 10% discount applied.
