Happy New year card sneak peek!
First, let me wish you a Happy New Year and that 2022 will be a happy and healthy one.
Today’s card features some gorgeous new papers which measure 6″x 6″ (15.2 x 15.2 cm) called “Sunshine & Rainbows”. Boy, do we need sunshine and rainbows now especially with Covid dragging on and on and on! The papers co-ordinate with a stamp set and dies in the forthcoming January-June 2022 mini. The stamp set is called “Rainbow of Happiness” and also has a coordinating set of dies called “Brilliant Rainbow dies” . If you purchase these as a bundle, there will be a 10% saving.
Both the stamps and dies are on my wish list, but I still managed to create something by using the papers alone so I’m pretty pleased with myself!
I’ve combined something “old” with something “new”. I used the Playful Alphabet dies for my numbers which I “dipped” in gold leaf. The “happy” was gold embossed on Magenta Madness card stock and fussy cut. The stamp came from “A Wish for Everything”.
The embossed background is the new “Gingham” embossing folder.

Enjoy a relaxing New Year’s Day – as usual, I’ve eaten far too much and am feeling bloated and unhealthy, so it’s back to tracking as of the 2nd!
