Long slim Valentine card

A long slim Valentine card made with the Sweet Conversations bundle. It wasn’t on my radar at first, but now I’ve got it, I LOVE it!

Those hearts with the words on it remind me of the Sweethearts candy which are also known as conversation hearts! Stampin’ Up! have called their stamp set “Sweet Conversations” so was that a cooincidence, or by design, I wonder!

Now that Stampin’ Up! supply the long, slim envelops, I’ll be making a lot more long, slim cards!

The inside of the card was partially embossed and I added a strip of Blushing Bride to hide the start of the embossed section.

Gingham embossing folder

You’re probably wondering how I managed to emboss the front of the card when it’s clearly a lot longer than the length of the embossing folder! It’s simply matching up the grooves and strategic placing of the top embossing plate so that it doesn’t mark the card stock.

Product List

Stampin’ Up! has a new Reward System beginning early April 2025. Customers now must have an online account and need to opt in to earn 10% of their qualifying commissionable product purchases to redeem as Stampin’ Rewards on future orders. A qualifying purchase must meet the minimum threshold requirement on commissionable products. Be aware that Stampin’ Rewards have an expiration date. They need not be redeemed all at once. Stampin’ Up!’s system tracks them and the rewards expiring first will be used first when redeemed. You can check the Rewards Dashboard to help you keep track of Rewards Expiration Date Information. Please note the new Stampin’ Reward System cannot use Rewards toward the purchase of a Starter Kit as the Starter Kit has non-commissionable items in it. The Host Code will become obsolete.
