One Sheet Wonder with New Horizons

One sheet wonder with New Horizons. These are the New Horizons 6″ x 6″ (15.2 x 15.2 cm) Designer Series Papers. I have been waiting for the papers to come into stock and couldn’t wait to get my hands on them! The non-availability of the papers until now were due to shipping delays.

For today’s video, I created four cards from a single sheet of 6″ x 6″ piece of New Horizons Designer Series Paper. The Basic Note cards and envelopes pack which contain 20 Thick Basic White pre-scored card bases and 20 envelopes are a perfect size to create these semi-miniature cards. When the card is folded, it measures 5″ x 3-1/2″ (12.7 x 8.9 cm).

Oops! Have you spotted the mistake in this photo? If you guessed I photographed the wrong ink pad, you’re right! The ink pad displayed should be in Blackberry Bliss, not Misty Moonlight.

Additional supplies

I cut the 6″ x 6″ DSP into four pieces measuring 3″ x 3″ (7.6 x 7.6 cm).

You can create a simple square mat layer as pictured in the card in the top right. However, if you use the Basic Border dies, it makes each 3″ x 3″ square look so much more interesting!

The card in the top left has a stitched scalloped edge and I tied some silver cord around it before adhering it to the card base.

Then for the Misty Moonlight cards, I used the angled stitched border die to create the mat layers.
