Sale-a-bration ends today

Sale-a-bration ends today. I don’t normally pop into your inbox on a Monday, but as it’s the last day of Sale-a-bration, I thought I’d share some quick cards I made with the Daffodil Afternoon papers.

I wanted to illustrate how easy it is to use patterned paper to create really quick, easy cards. It took me forever and a day to get round to using these papers.

5 cards with Daffodil Afternoon designer series papers sale-a-bration

Throwing caution to the wind, I cut flowers from some of the sheets to add to the card front. There was very little stamping, except the sentiments. Some of these were stamped in Versamark and embossed with White or black embossing powder.

The dies I used is an old favourite “Painted Labels dies” which coordinates with the Painted Poppies stamp set. It has been around for awhile, which is testament to how popular and useful it has been. Another favourite is the Peaceful Moments stamp set which has a lovey font.

I also used the medium daisy punch to add a flower which features on the pattern I used for the “happy birthday” card.
