A long slim card in my Easter Friends Series. Welcome to the second episode of four in my Easter Friends series in April. I’m on a roll! Being slow to revisit the Tulips dies and in particular that row of tulips dies. I can’s seem to keep my hands off it! You can see another card I made with this same die HERE.
As a last “hurrah” for the Words Wishes dies which is retiring soon, I used the foam adhesive sheets on the back of some Mango Melody card stock before die cutting the words “Happy Easter”. The dies are on the “Last Chance” list and is currently such a bargain, reduced from £33 down to £16.50! I’m really sad to see them go, but I guess we have to so we can make room for the new!

Blending Brush technique
You can add large swathes of colour with a blending brush. They are a Godsend. The brushes are made up of a dense fine hair like fibres and doesn’t leave any harsh marks.
You can see how I added the colour to the grassy section on the row of tulips die cut. The same technique was used for the sky background. You pick up the ink on your brush and use a light circular motion off the paper and migrate toward the card stock of your project to avoid leaving blotches of colour.
