This mini pocket envelop Father’s day card is a bit quirky. The mini pocket envelop dies are sized so that a credit card size gift card can be inserted into it. I used it as a decoration for the front of this Father’s Day card instead.
Remember the Windmill Dies which are in the January-June 2022 mini catalogue? Sadly, neither the dies nor the Tulip Field stamp set will be available after June 30. I have been meaning to use that bicycle die so it’s a case of now, or never!
There is a Host set of Designer Series Papers called Design a Daydream. It is a bumper pack of 12″x 12″ (30.5 x 30.5 cm) papers which contain 4 sheets each of 12 double sided designs, 48 sheets in total. One of the designs has bicycles in a variety of colours . I cut my mini pocket envelop out of this and made a little note card to insert in it.
The bicycle die from the Windmill Dies set is really intricate. It would be impossible to try and put dimensionals behind it to pop it up. Instead, I attached an adhesive sheet to the back of Pool Party card stock and cut 5 bicycles which I stacked and adhered on top of each other.
Included in the Mini Pocket Envelop Dies set are also a variety of dies for making labels, a bow and a mini tag. I used the oval one to stamp “dad” from the Happy & Heartfelt stamp set which is retiring too!
