Simply embossed card with Splendid Thoughts from the new July-December 2022 mini. I’ve been meaning to use this new Cascading 3D embossing folder but haven’t had the opportunity to do so until now. They look like the folds in a curtain, it looks really pretty.
A couple of weeks ago, we had a Stampin’ Up! event called “Creativity Now”. Demonstrators in all Stampin’ Markets were able to get together on a virtual platform and we had different presenters and crafted along. In total we made 4 cards and a gift bag. Fortunately the event platform recordings will still be available for awhile so that those who missed bits, could revisit and watch the replay and download the pdfs. It was fun, but I couldn’t resist adding my own little twist.
In today’s video, I wanted to share how I made this easy, peasy card. Embossing folders are my best friend. It elevates any project to a different level with minimum effort from you and it’s also a great time saver! I love them and this one is no exception. It brings back memories of the “wave” one which retired some time ago.
I’m not sure what the leaves are, my guess is that they’re some sort of Dracaenia and the rounded leaf resembles the Chinese money plant – its botanical name is Pilea Peperomioides (pronounced pie-lee-er peppero-me-oy-dees). Either is open for debate as I’m no horticulturalist!
