Oooh – a shaker card with Celebrations tag dies. Who would’ve thought tag dies could be used on cards too. It’s a great way to maximise the use of the dies.
Happy Sunday! Eek, it seems to come round so fast each week. August can be a quiet month, because school has broken up and most people will be thinking of holidays/vacation, a change of scenery and some down time.
That’s why it’s good to have cards with sentiments like “Let’s Celebrate You!” in your stash. You’ll always have something for that emergency when you’ve been away and haven’t had time to make more.
Last week I showcased the Celebrate with Tags bundle with the two types of tags so I thought I’d share one using the Shaker elements. The rectangle die cut out an aperture on the front of the tag and I adhered a window sheet behind the opening with tear and tape.
I also backed the tag with the same patterned paper from the 2022-24 6″x 6″ (15.2 x 15.2 cm) In Colour Designer Series Paper pack. There is a gap at the bottom of the tag, but an adhesive strip will close that up and add a bit of height so that the sequins can move about easily. Use adhesive strip to seal the top too.
Short and sweet post today – enjoy your break wherever you may be!
