Advent Calendar – Design a Treat Box

In episode 8 of 12 in my Christmas Countdown Series, I have an Advent Calendar using the Design a Treat Box bundle. Being an Advent Calendar it is a much larger project than the norm. For a bit of variety, I designed an Angel, an elf, a Santa and copied the reindeer from the catalogue. You need 24 boxes altogether and having 4 designs made this divisible by 4 quite nicely. So you need to make 6 each of the Angel, Elf, Santa and Reindeer.

The box is just the right size for Lindor shaped chocolates – these come in numerous flavours, so you can still vary the contents of each box, or you could use Hershey kisses.

Numerals

To make my life easier I put adhesive sheets to strips of approximately 2″ pieces of card stock in red, black and green and die cut all the numbers from the remnants from die cutting your box bases and Santa’s belts. You’ll get ones surplus to requirements but you can leave it on the non-stick surface from the adhesive sheets and reserve them for another project.
