Today I have an accordion fold for a sympathy card with Sending Support stamp set. The Sending Support stamp set is free, subject to a qualifying purchase of £45 excluding shipping/handling during the Sale-a-bration promotion period from 5 January-28 February 2023.
I purchased the Petal Park bundle which includes the stamp set and punch. In addition I bought the Regency Park 6″x 6″ (15.2 x 15.2 cm) Designer Series Papers which then qualified for getting this stamp set free!
Let’s face it, life is never plain sailing and we all experience loss, bereavement, highs and lows during our lives and the sentiments from the Sending Support stamp set is ideal. So here’s what I made.
The card front has an embossed layer in Night of Navy with the Cane Weave 3D embossing folder.
Looks like an ordinary card, but this is what it looks like when you peel back the label on the front…
The accordion part unfolds and reveals messages of support. On the penultimate last panel it reads “there are so many ways you might feel right now …” followed by “it’s okay not to feel okay” and on the inside of the card “my shoulder is yours“.
I used the stamparatus to help me postion the stamps so that it would stamp correctly. Petal Park is a two-step stamping photopolymer stamp set. One stamp to stamp the outline, and a second stamp with a solid image to fill in the inside. That’s good news for those of you who don’t particularly like colouring!!!
This is the view from the top. In order to prevent the card from toppling over when it is open, I added the punched out flowers to the bottom left edge of the accordion fold.
