Just one last sneak peek with a floral card before launch day on May 2, 2023 for the new Annual Catalogue! The floral card was quick and easy to make because patterned paper can take centre stage and you don’t have to do very much else.
Was Pretty Peacock among your favourite colours in the past? It’s coming back! As luck would have it, I got rid of all of my card stock, ink refills and ink pads including markers – not sure if they had Stampin’ Blends in that shade when this colour retired.
Much to my dismay, I’d completely forgot to order the core-colour ink pad bundle. I remembered the markers, the stampin’ blends and the ink refills. To get around not having the ink pad when I made this card before the new core colour ink pads in my pre-order arrived, I white embossed the sentiment on Pretty Peacock card stock instead.
New “Wild Wheat”
The “gold” colour is one of the new 2023-2025 In Colors called Wild Wheat. In my personal opinion, using this as an accent colour was fine, but it just didn’t sit well with me to use lots of it as a card base.
Cheerful Daisies dies
The die featured on this card is BIG! You can use it as one piece, or snip them to separate them and re-arrange them as I’ve done here.
Embellishments
I wrapped the ⅜” (1 cm) Textured Ribbon in Wild Wheat to “zone” the sections on my mat layer. There is also a label die with stitched edging in the Cheerful Daisies Dies set. I white embossed the sentiment and adhered it on top of the ribbon with dimensionals. Finally, I arranged the flowers and adhered these with dimensionals too.

Product ListI hope you liked today’s card. It’s one of the many cards I made from just one sheet of 12″ x 12″ DSP which had ten images different sizes. How cool is that?
