Clean and Simple card with Night of Flight

Wow! Yesterday was the Coronation of King Charles III – what a day in history, steeped in tradition in parts and such an all inclusive service which recognised all faiths and amongst the guests, people who had given service to their communities especially during Covid in the time of the nation’s needs. It was a spellbinding spectacle, rehearsed to perfection, watched by millions all over the world. The procession, the music in the abbey all curated by His Majesty the King was absolutely superb. Now back to reality.

Today’s card is clean and simple with Night of Flight stamp set. This is a Host set which can only be earned through a qualifying party order with Stampin’ rewards. The stamps are a 2-step photopolymer stamp set with gorgeous butterflies.

In the Fresh as a Daisy 12″x 12″ (30.5 x 30.5 cm) Designer Series Paper pack, there is a sheet of DSP which has 10 pieces of artwork in different sizes configured so that they fit in a 12″x 12″ (30.5 x 30.5 cm) sheet. You can cut them up and use the pieces to make individual cards, or combine two or three of the smaller pieces to make up a card. I scored the card front in half and folded it back and then adhered the pattern paper to the left side of the card.

Card details

1. Card Base Boho Blue – 8 ¾” x 4 ⅛” (22.5 cm x 10.5 cm)  
2. Long side on top score at 2 ⅞” (7.5 cm)
3. Adhere Striped Fresh as a Daisy DSP onto small panel.
4. Stamp butterflies with Boho Blue ink on a scrap of Basic White card stock.
5. Colour butterflies with Stampin’ Blends in Boho Blue and a Crushed Curry Stampin’ Write marker pen. Then fussy cut both butterflies.
6. Adhere butterflies with dimensionals on the short striped panel.

Inside card

1. Cut a Basic White mat layer 5 ½” x 3 ¾” (14 cm x 9.5 cm)
2. Adhere Basic White piece to the Boho Blue card base and stamp greeting and the daisy.
