Happy Sunday! The Warm Welcome Bundle was on the last chance list. I needed to make a “welcome to your new home” card and was trawling through my stamps to see which would be suitable. Imagine my surprise and delight to find that the stamp set at least is still available as an Online Exclusive!
Unfortunately the dies are not included, but as I owned them anyway, I didn’t hesitate to use them. I die cut two panels for double doors and the house numbers with Lost Lagoon card stock. The door handles, door knockers and the number plate was die cut with Pecan Pie card stock.
I am so pleased Lost Lagoon has returned – it’s in the Subtles collection and it probably replaces Mint Macaron because there’s quite a bit of green in it, although it is bluish. The doors were adhered with a foam adhesive sheet to the card base. Foam adhesive sheets are simply un-cut dimensionals! The sheet is the same size as the dimensionals.
Inside card
- Cut a Basic White mat layer measuring 5 ½” x 3 ¾” (14 cm x 9.5 cm).
- Stamp images in Lost Lagoon
- For the sentiments, stamp “Knowing you feels like coming home” twice on a scrap of basic white.
- Cut the letters to spell “new” as well as “home”.
- Adhere the letters below “Yay”.
