Here’s a clean, simple card with the Horse & Sleigh bundle which is an Online Exclusive now available for sale.
I only invested in the Horse & Sleigh bundle so here’s another sample using those gorgeous papers. The Countryside Corners dies “frames” the winter scene beautifully. In the Horse & Sleigh stamp set, there is a spotty stamp which I assume is for the snow. I stamped the upper portion of the frame in versamark and white embossed it.
Embossing with any colour ink
Did you know that if you stamp in Versamark first and then in any colour ink of your choice, then sprinkle it with clear embossing powder, you can emboss in any colour you like? I did this on vellum card stock so it wouldn’t obscure the winter scene.
Lastly, I added the adhesive backed Snowflake Assortment which is part of the One Horse Open Sleigh Collection to complete the card.
Cutting guide
- Card base Basic White Thick : standard card half A4 sheet folded in half in Europe this measures 5 ⅞” x 8 ¼” (14.5 x 21 cm)
- Front of card Pool Party : cut at 3 ¾” x 5 ½” (9.5 cm x 14 cm)
- One Horse Open Sleigh 6″x 6″ (15.2 x 15.2 cm) DSP : 3″ x 6″ (7.6 cm x 15.2 cm). Trim as necessary so it doesn’t peep out beyond Pool Party mat layer.
- Vellum card stock ½” x 3” (1.3 cm x 7.5 cm)
