Another sneak peek – Joy to You

Another sneak peek this time with Joy to You and the Handcrafted Element Dies. You’ll find this on page 21 of the forthcoming 2023 September-December Mini catalogue which goes live on 6 September! Not long to wait!

I took my inspiration from the sample in the catalogue itseIf – why change it, if it’s perfect? I probably placed the gold jewel in a different place and omitted the linen thread. All the die cuts had mini-dimensionals cut in half and adhered in between the holes on the back to raise it from the mat layer so this is for an avid crafter rather than a beginner! It’s not a 5 minute job, but the effect is stunning, don’t you think? Thank you Concept Artists at Stampin’ Up!

I used two sets of dies. The labels came from the Classic Christmas die set, and a separate stand alone one called Handcrafted Elements dies.

The manuscript paper is from the Joyful 12″x 12″ (30.5 x 30.5 cm) Specialty Designer Series pack from the Joy of Christmas Suite. A little goes a long way! I also white embossed the sentiment on Vellum card stock and trimmed off the ends to overlay on top which gives the label that “opaque” look.
