Amazing pop up chocolate bar

Amazing pop up chocolate bar surprise with Saint Nicholas stamps and the online exclusive Traditions of St Nick 12″ x 12″ (30.5 x 30.5 cm) Designer Series Papers. These papers go down the red and green route, with some other accent colours like  Cajun Craze, Cherry Cobbler, Copper Clay, Early Espresso, Mossy Meadow, Pebbled Path, Real Red, Wild Wheat.

I used a fairly wide ribbon to hold these adorable specially sourced Christmas themed chocolate bars. Again they are great for stocking fillers, a secret Santa gift, or Christmas Eve boxes. They are quick and easy to make.

Merriest Trees dies

Did you know that there is a label die in the Merriest Trees dies set. It has also got a hole re-enforcement die which you can add to the label. You can mix and match your stash so I was delighted that the Merriest Trees dies had a label die included. To tie in with the paper, I used the stamp from Saint Nicholas stamp set and coloured the tiny images with Stampin’ Blends.

Cutting guide

Both imperial and metric measurements listed – metric measurements in brackets. For instructions on box assembly, please refer to video tutorial. Remember to adhere all your Mat layers to box base before you punch the hole for the ribbon.

1. Box base Real Red card stock cut 8 ½” x 8 ¼” (22.5 cm x 21 cm).
2. Orient Real Red card stock so short side is on top and score at ½” (1.5 cm)
3. Rotate Real Red card stock so long side is on top and score at 3 ½”, 4”, 7 ½” and 8” (9 cm, 10.5 cm and 19.5 cm and 21 cm)
4. Crumb Cake Mat layer #1 : 3 ¼” x 7 ⅝” (8.5 cm x 19 cm)
5. Traditions of St. Nick DSP Mat layer #2 : 3” x 7 ⅜” (8 cm x 18.5 cm)
6. Scraps of Crumb Cake and *Basic White to die cut label.

Tip: *Adhere the Basic White strip for stamping on to Crumb Cake card stock before you die cut label so that the stitched border runs all the way round the tag.
