Disover the wonder of White Kraft Ink. We love Stampin’ Up!’s amazing colour range, but what about the humble Whisper White Kraft ink? It’s a pigment ink so it takes quite a long time to dry. Apart from it being used as a medium for the whitewash technique, or even as an embossing base in lieu of Versamark, did you know that you can also simply use it for stamping just like the water based inks?
It gives a much more subtle look even though it takes longer to dry it’s worth it. If you’re impatient, like me, you can reduce the drying time by using a heat tool.

Stampin’ Up! introduced the Fragrant Trees stamp which is a background stamp. Being a larger stamp, it only fits on the “F” block, but I used the Stamparatus (sadly now retired) to stamp with just. in case I needed to stamp it several times to achieve the look I wanted.
The trees were too nice to cover up and I hit on the idea to silver emboss the greeting in the shape of a tree from Merriest Trees to use as the sentiment. I’m pleased with how it turned out, what do you think?
Cutting Guide
I haven’t given the mat layer which goes underneath the Deckled Rectangle any measurements because it depends on which size you use and how much of the image you want to use.
- Card base : Standard size in Pretty Peacock 5 ¾” x 8 ¼” (10.5 cm x 21 cm)
- Basic White inside card : 5 ½” x 3 ¾” (14 cm x 9.5 cm)
- Scraps of Pretty Peacock to stamp on and die cut with Deckled Rectangle die
- Basic White scrap to cut mat layer slightly larger than the Deckled Rectangle
