Fun z-fold with Merriest Trees

Happy Sunday! What better way to create a fun z-hold with Merriest Trees as well as the Rocking Horse Bundle. Z-folds makes for an interesting card with a great wow factor but without the faff. In fact, it’s one of my favourite folds and very effective when you want to create a scene.

How to create a z-fold

If you’re new to stamping and card making you simply cut an A4 sheet in half. In Europe & Ireland this will measure 11 ¾” x 4 ⅛” (29 cm x 10.5 cm). With the long side at the top of your score board or trimmer, score at 5 ¾”. Then fold the front of the card in half to create the z-fold. That’s it!

The picture on the left is a picture of the card closed. I used the images and dies from the Rocking Horse bundle for the sentiment with the teddy bear in front.

In the picture on the right, the middle panel is more visible. This has a Basic White layer where you can stamp and address the recipient and for your signature.

On the large end panel, also the inside of the card, I created a scene with Merriest Trees Dies, and stamped presents, a drum and trumpet and building blocks die cut from the Rocking Horse bundle.

The background Crumb Cake mat layers were embossed with the Exposed Brick 3D embossing folder. It looked a bit bare, so I added a sentiment and die cut bow as an embellishment.

Well what do you think?
