Hills of Tuscany

On our Silver Anniversary many moons ago, we embarked on an Italian Odyssey tour and one of the lasting memories were the Hills of Tuscany. We loved the ambiance, the food and the scenery and especially the people. They weren’t as snooty here as it was in the heart of Florence and we particularly loved San Gimignano where we tasted the best authentic Italian pizza with the thinnest of bases which simply melted in your mouth.

The Hills of Tuscany is one of Stampin’ Up!’s new photopolymer stamp sets. You can create different scenes with the stamps to evoke scenes of the rolling Tuscan hills.

Inside card

This is the inside of the card. There isn’t a greeting so that the card can be used for any occasion. To co-ordinate with the card front, I simply stamped another Tuscan Hill scene. This time I used a masking technique to make the house appear behind the trees and the hill.
