The wonder of Softly Sophisticated Bundle

Unlock the wonder of the Softly Sophisticated Bundle. It is one of the free Sale-a-bration choices in the Sale-a-bration brochure on page 14. Have you seen the gorgeous Perennial Lavender Suite in the new January-April 2024 mini? You’ll find if on pages 22-25 and it’s quite a big collection with two stamps and die bundles.

Sale-a-bration’s Softly Sophisticated Bundle

The Softly Sophisticated Bundle is one of the choices in the Sale-a-bration brochure which you can get free subject to a qualifying order of £90 excluding shipping/handling. The stamps are photopolymer and is a two-step stamping set.

Stamp the leaves first, then fit the floral images around the leaves. This bundle includes a 3D embossing folder.

If you wish to choose the Softly Sophisticated Bundle as your freebie, a suggestion is to purchase both bundles in the Perennial Lavender Suite Collection.

Perennial Lavender Suite Collection

Apart from 2 stamp and die bundles, the collection also includes Purple fine shimmer gems, gorgeous Perennial Lavender 12″x 12″ Designer Series Paper Pack and Paper Butterfly Accents. By investing in this collection, I was able to get the Softly Sophisticated Bundle for free.

1. Painted Lavender Bundle

The Painted Lavender Bundle has floral images only and the Painted Lavender Dies cuts out the corresponding stamped images. This bundle is £44, add some adhesive and it will qualify for a free product in the £45 category.

If you fancy getting the Softly Sophisticated Sale-a-bration Bundle, then omit the adhesive because both bundles will get you just over the £90 threshold.

2. Perennial Postage Bundle

Perennial Postage stamp set is full of lovely sentiments with a mixture of fonts in block capitals and script. The stamps are made out of red rubber. I especially like the one that says “Happy Mother’s Day”.

It is bundled with the Perennial Postage nested dies. The edges of the dies look like actual postage stamps and there are 6 nested Rectangles, 2 nested squares, a small label with only the two ends which have the postage stamp detail (pictured below), a die to cut the hole for a tag, a hole re-enforcement die and lastly a postage mark embossing die.

How to make the card

  1. Prepare a Basic White Thick standard card base 11 ¾” x 4 ⅛”  (29 cm x 10.5 cm).
  2. Cut DSP 5 ½” x 3 ¾” (14 cm x 9.5 cm) and adhere to card front
  3. Emboss a piece of 5″x 3 ¼” ( 12.5 cm x 8.5 cm) vellum with Softly Sophisticated 3D embossing folder
  4. Use blending brush to apply colour to back of vellum with Gorgeous Grape ink and adhere on top of DSP
  5. Stamp 2nd generation Shaded Spruce ink with leaf stamp from Softly Sophisticated on scrap of Basic White card stock.
  6. Next position larger floral image over leaves and stamp in Fresh Freesia
  7. Select a Perennial Postage die to fit image and die cut. Adhere on left side of vellum
  8. Stamp sentiment in Gorgeous Grape on Basic White scrap and die cut with smallest nested Perennial Die.
  9. Adhere to DSP mat layer.
  10. Emboss and fussy cut post mark and add some Gorgeous Grape colour with a blending brush.
  11. Add embellishments to finish
  12. Decorate inside of card as you wish. I simply stamped the other floral image and left off the sentiment. This means I can add an appropriate one at a later date when the need arises for whatever occasion.
