The “Best Family Ever” photopolymer stamp set is such a brilliant stamp set to have in your craft room. This stamp set is an answer to my prayers! It covers grand-parents, brothers, sisters, in-laws, aunts and uncles, nieces and nephews too!
Mother’s Day is two days away. Another item I don’t use often enough is the Delightful Doily Hybrid embossing folder. I had some rewards left so I used it to treat myself and don’t regret it one bit. I’d seen a sample made by Stampin’ Up and fell in love with the die and the technique so I re-created it with my own spin on it which you can see HERE.
Card front
I used Sentimental Park Stamps and Sentimental Park Dies for the card front. The Lost Lagoon Mat layer was embossed with the Delightful Doily Hybrid embossing folder.
Inside card
I didn’t put “happy mother’s day” greeting inside so it can be used for any occasion. You can either pen “happy mother’s day” yourself if you wish it to be for Mothering Sunday.
Cutting Guide
- Card base : Lost Lagoon 5 ¾” x 8 ¼” (14.5 cm x 21 cm)
- Mat layer card front and inside card : 2 pieces Basic White 3 ¾” x 5 ½” (9.5 cm x 14 cm)
- Card front Mat layer #2 : Lost Lagoon 3 ⅝” x 5 ⅜” (9 cm x 13.5 cm) – for embossing
- Scraps of Basic White for stamping and die cutting floral elements
- Adhesive backed scraps of Calypso Coral and Petal Pink card stock.
