Coming soon – Encircled with Nature! Another sneak peek of a new Online Exclusive which will be available from 5 March 2024. Goodness gracious! I can’t believe how quickly time flies! Can you believe we’re galloping toward Easter?

This new Encircled with Nature stamps and dies covers all the seasons in the year from winter, spring, summer and fall. I made this into an Easter card simply by using a greeting from another stamp set called Excellent Eggs from the January-April 2024 Mini.

Wreath elements

I die cut my pieces in Basic White so I could colour them in different colours. This is when you’ll find those Stampin’ Blends alcohol markers really useful. Colouring with alcohol markers means that there are no harsh lines and makes light and dark shading seamless.

The wreath is in two parts. One is the base which is a separate die cut piece and coloured with Pecan Pie. The stems on the second piece was coloured with Light Pretty Peacock and the buds or berries with Daffodil Delight. Depending on the season, the berries can be coloured in autumn or winter colours.

The dies for the lavender pieces are separate so that you can have one curving to the left, and the other curving to the right. It doesn’t fit the stamp image in the stamp set – the stamp image is larger. I coloured these with Light Pretty Peacock and Highland Heather combos.

Lastly, I stamped the larger flowers in Tuxedo Black Memento ink and coloured those with Pretty Peacock, Daffodil Delight and flower centre with Pumpkin Pie.

Inside card

I kept it minimilist and simply stamped second generation Pretty Peacock leaf in a lighter shade.

1. Card base : Daffodil Deight 5 ¾” x 8 ¼” (14.5 cm x 21 cm)
2. Pecan Pie Mat layer #1 card front : 3 ¾” x 5 ½” (9.5 cm x 14 cm)
3. Basic White Mat layer #2 card front: 3 ⅝” x 5 ⅜” (9 cm x 13.5 cm)
4. Inside card Basic White : 3 ¾” x 5 ½” (9.5 cm x 14 cm)
5. Basic White scraps to die cut wreath and floral elements.
