Sneak peek – Latte Love. If you’re a coffee lover this new Online Exclusive available from 5 March 2024 is just adorable! There are images of latte art in abundance on one of the sheets of DSP from A Little Latte Love 12″x 12″ (30.5 x 30.5 cm) DSP which can be die cut and used to “fill” your coffee cup with! Even if you’re not a coffee lover, this bundle can still be used for tea or hot chocolate!
Coffee or Tea?
Which camp are you in? Tea or coffee? I love both. In fact we have two coffee machines, one which fits the Vertuo pods, and the other for the original capsules.
Cafetières
In the old days, we used to brew our coffee in a cafetière. I think across the pond, they call it a French press which is the same thing. We used loose freshly ground coffee beans scooped into the jug, poured boiling water into the jug with the plunger in the “up” position while the coffee brewed. When it was ready, you’d push the plunger down and pour. It was always really messy cleaning up afterwards. The pods are certainly much easier.
You can get cafetières in different colours, usually in black but the one we had was stainless steel. I used a window sheet to cut jug part to make it look more authentic.
Inside card
I love the coffee bean stamps and there’s also a splatter pattern! Although it’s part of the Latte Love stamp set, you could use this splatter stamp for any card to create a vintage, distressed look! I often mix my stamps to create a “look” and in order to remember which stamp set it came from, I’ll write on the block it’s mounted on as an aide mémoire.
