Easy corner fold – Joyful Squares. At time of writing, Joyful Squares was in the Last Chance List. I thought I’d give it one last “hurrah” before they disappear!

Materials used

• Painted Patterns 12″x 12″ (30.5 x 30.5 cm) Designer Series PapersJoy 2026-2028 In Color™ papers.
• Joyful Squares Bundle
• Cutest Crew Stamp set
• New Shimmer Brush in Barely Blush and Hydrangea Hue in addition to their Stampin’ Blends combos
• Golden Glow and Peaceful Pine Stampin’ Blends
• Hydrangea Hue, Basic White card stock
• Versarmark ink, Basic Black Hybrid ink, Hydrangea Hue ink
• Embossing additions tool kit
• Heat tool

Omitting greeting

Incidentally, I didn’t add a greeting on the inside so I could customise it to suit the occasion at a later date.

Cutting and scoring guide

Hope the different coloured score lines will make it easier to understand.

1. Cut Hydrangea Hue Painted Pattern DSP 7 ½” x 8 ½” (19 cm x 21.5 cm)
2. Short side on top score at 3″(7.5 cm). Rotate paper quarter turn anti-clockwise and score long side at 3″(7.5 cm).
3. Diagonal fold – Bring top left corner down so that both 3″ (7.5 cm) score lines are aligned with the 3″ score lines on main body of card base and burnish.

Mat layer

1. Burnish score line on short side
2. Do the same on the long side
3. Cut and adhere Hydrangea Hue mat layer for inside card : 4 ¼” x 5 ¼” (11 cm x 13.5 cm)
4. Basic White layer adhered on top 4″ x 5″ (10 cm x 12.5 cm)

Inside card

1. Stamp birds from Cutest Crew in Basic Black Hybrid ink. Colour with Barely Blush and Hydrangea Hue Stampin’ Blends combo and go over it with coordinating shimmer brushes.
2. Colour beaks in Golden Glow and the grass in Peaceful Pine Stampin’ Blends.
3. Cut, align and adhere 3″x 3″ (7.5 x 7.5 cm) Hydrangea Hue square to the back of the one on front of card as soon as the one on the front has been adhered.

Front of card

1. Cut Hydrangea Hue square 3″x 3″ (7.5 x 7.5 cm)
2. Stamp square pattern on Basic White and die cut with corresponding die from Joyful Square bundle. Adhere on top of Hydrangea Hue piece leaving an even border on all 4 sides.
3. On scrap of Hydrangea Hue, stamp greeting from Joyful Square stamp set in Versamark and white emboss then adhere with dimensionals centred on the circle of Basic White stamped image.
4. Mark the position of where the decorated square is to be adhered and apply tear n’ tape inside the area. Close card to ascertain the correct way up, and adhere decorated square as pictured in the middle.
