Zany Zebras and Camouflage

Happy Bank Holiday weekend!

Where’s the time going? I can’t believe I’m penning this for yet another Sunday! My week is just flying by too fast! Is it for you?

I thought I’d give the background stamps a little bit of love. Did you spot this Camouflage stamp in the Annual Catalogue on page 138? You’re probably wondering how this can be a great addition to your stash.

Do you have teens, or people you know who have a career in the military? Have you friends who love field sports or who love the outdoors? Well, here’s the answer. Experiment with different colours, pinks, greens, blues or yellows – let your creativity run wild!

I chose to do this in a Pear Pizzaz colour with Garden Green to make it “pop”. The zebras were stamped in Tuxedo Black Memento ink and I fussy cut them adhered them with dimensionals.

Adding the Friendly Silhouette die detail gave the card a bit more pizzazz. Can you spot what I altered on the die cut? The die was a silhouette with bulrushes, but I only wanted grass so I cut off the bulrushes. Neat!

Here’s the recipe!
