Halloween treat box – Sparkle of the Season

It’s another Halloween treat box with Sparkle of the Season. A warm welcome to Week 4’s Countdown to Halloween Series which is another Halloween treat box. As the Halloween series is such a short run, I feel I need to make mostly 3D items for holding candy. If you missed the previous week’s one click HERE.

Additional die set

I needed quite a wide topper for my Halloween treat box and found that the best fit was a die from the Seasonal Labels Dies in the Painted Christmas Suite. What I love about this die set is that it has special dies to cut out the apertures for your ribbon. In fact there are a pair, so that you can die cut slots at either end of the labels to thread ribbon through!

The box opens on either side so that you can easily put the sweets in. This particular one was sized to fit some mini Toblerone in.

Returning favourite

Of course I had to use the black glimmer paper which is a returning favourite. I didn’t get the opportunity to use it much when it first came out, so I was glad to be able to use what I had left without having to purchase more.

The adhesive sheets are a staple and I stick it on to the back of any paper I use for intricate dies or anything small and fiddly.
