This July will be my 10th anniversary with Stampin’ Up! and also hitting 100 K in Career to date sales. It had been on my mind since my husband retired a couple of years ago, that I should follow suit and free up some time to enjoy his retirement together.
I am so grateful for all my customers and ladies who have attended my classes and/or workshops and events in the last 10 years and for their loyalty and support. I’m only small fry in a big pond, but this is HUGE for me because I had never intended nor envisaged that it would become a “business” and that I would have my own little team.
The lovely Val and Claire knew that I was going to be retiring from teaching before I made the announcement to the rest of the class this month, and made me these “thank you” cards and brought some flowers. It made it easier to break the news as I had been dragging my feet over this for a very, very long time – 2 years, in fact!
Thank you Val and Claire – your cards are beautiful and I will treasure them!
The good news is that even though I’m not teaching anymore, it’s not the end of our time together – we will still meet up once a month, they can bring their own projects to share, show and tell or they can play with a selection of my stamps/tools of my choosing each month for their own creations.
I will remain a Demonstrator and continue to support my team and my ladies can still order from me if they wish.
So you see…. it’s the end of an Era, but not an end.
Happy Sunday!
