Diorama card – Easter Friends Series

I am excited abut today’s Diorama card. This is the first episode of four in my Easter Friends Series over two consecutive weeks in April starting from this week. In 2022, Easter Sunday falls on 17 April. Time is flying by so fast! We’re already in the first quarter of 2022! They say time flies when you’re having fun.

No fancy dies to create this diorama card except for using the second largest Layering Circles dies to cut an aperture on the front piece. I’ve added a fence from the Horizon dies and also some grass and the pebbles enamel shapes to add a little interest.

On the back portion of the Dioraram, I adhered a 4″ x 4″ (10 cm x 10 cm) piece of patterned paper from Flowering Fields 12″ x 12″ (30.5 x30.5 cm) Designer Series pack. This was adhered to an Evening Evergreen mat layer to give the card extra strength and I mirrored this on the back also.

In my haste to take this photo before the light faded, have you noticed the faux pas I made? If you guessed that the Stampin’ Blend markers weren’t in the mix, you’d be right! I photograph my pictures in batches and they were used in another card. It was a brain freeze moment because the card base was yellow!

On the back, I added somewhere for penning a few lines. Instead of stamping, I adhered a strip of the same patterned paper to the Basic White piece.
