I made an anniversary card with Celebrate with Tags bundle in the July-December 2022 mini catalogue. Although the name suggests that this is specifically for tags, you can also make pretty cards with it.
By using an embossing folder, layers of card stock and assembling the tag to use as a feature, I was able to create an anniversary card using some of the dies from the Celebration Tag Dies set. Inside the tag, I added some Cottage Garden DSP so that it would coordinate with the Envelope Treat box which you can see HERE
Unfortunately when I was creating this card, I didn’t realise that the Blushing Bride metallic ribbon had retired. If you own it already, then by all means use it, but if not you can use one of the current ribbons. I’d suggest the 3/8″ (1 cm) Gold shimmer ribbon which I’ve included in the supply list below.
Celebration Tag Dies
There are 14 dies in all in this set. Two types of tag dies – the one I’ve used here is the pocket tag which incorporates the tabs to create the pocket. I used the “spotty” die to cut little holes at the bottom of the tag to add texture and I also cut a circle above this with the stitched circle die. I wanted the Gingham Cottage DSP to be visible.
The set also includes labels, balloon, snowflake and candles, hearts and tags.
Card 2
I used the other scalloped tag to create this birthday card. The sentiment was white embossed on basic black card stock and to help break up the black, I added a strip of the Gingham Cottage DSP underneath the scalloped edge tag.
I stamped the balloon and the “hugs and kisses” banner in Orchid Oasis. On a scrap piece of Basic White, I stamped a second balloon in Real Red and die cut it. Next, I die cut the candles from “Celebrate Everything DSP” which is a Host reward subject to a qualifying total workshop order.
