Double Tower card – Vintage Christmas

It’s week 4 in my Christmas Countdown series and this time I have a fun double tower card using the Vintage Christmas stamp set.

I was first introduced to this type of card a couple of years ago by a non-Stampin’ Up! demonstrator, but it was sized as a 6″ x 6″ card and obviously it wouldn’t fit in a standard size envelop so I shelved the idea for another day. After procrastinating shall I, shan’t I ad infinitum I eventually bit the bullet and set about trying to create one that would. After several attempts I finally cracked it.

This is the front….

…. and here’s the back – somewhere for you to address the recipient and say who it’s from!

This type of fold is a series of cuts every 1/2″ or 1 cm between two sets of score lines. It’s not as complicated as it looks and easier to comprehend via a visual aid, so press play and see how.
