Same set of supplies with 3 different looks

I’m sharing how you can create 3 different looks using the same set of supplies for each card. We’re always looking for ways to make a little go a long way especially in the current economic climate.

I used the Christmas Banners Bundle and also the Sweet Candy Canes Cling stamp set which are both from the Sweetest Christmas Suite Collection in the July-December 2022 mini on pages 8-11. Additional items I used were the Stylish Shaped dies. I used the largest circle die to cut a Basic White circle for each card.

Another vital tool I use is Stampin’ Up!’s own brand of stamp positioning tool called the Stamparatus. I’ve said it once and a million times since, it’s an invaluable tool especially if you’re doing multiple cards.

Stepping it Up

For the third card, the one on the far right, I stepped it up by adding the Wintry 3D embossing folder. The Garden Green layer was torn toward me just a tad and then embossed with the Wintry 3D embossing folder. I used a blending brush to highlight the raised areas and the edges and did the same with the Basic White circle.

The supplies

This is the same set of supplies I used for each card to create 3 very different looks.

  1. Pool Party card base standard (1/2 an A4 sheet) 5-7/8″ x 8-1/4″ (14.5 cm x 21 cm)
  2. Basic White for inside of card 3-3/4″ x 5-1/2″ (9.5 cm x 14 cm)
  3. Garden Green mat layer 3-1/2″ x 5-1/4″ (9 cm x 13.5 cm)
  4. 10.Strip of Sweetest Christmas 12″x 12″ (30.5 x 30.5 cm) Designer Series paper cut at 2″ x 4-1/8″ (5 cm x 10.5 cm)
  5. Stamp banner in Pool party, a sprig of leaves in Soft Sea Foam, a pair of holly leaves in Garden Green then die cut them all with the Candy Cane dies and Christmas Banners dies.
  6. Die cut the pine needles in Garden Green from Christmas Banners dies and the largest circle from Stylish Shapes in Basic White.
  7. Stamp the twig in Soft Suede and position the berries over the twig and stamp in Real Red. Fussy cit and used this as embellishments.

Using the same supplies to create 3 different looks adds a bit of variety. If you’re making a lot, it helps break up the monotony of doing the same one ad infinitum!
